Welcome to my last post...... of 2011!

What an amazing year it has been. So many accomplishments and yet so little time... Now before we take a look at what I accomplished in 2011, let;s take a run down of tonight's (or if you want to get technical, last nights) episode of Spiral Live. Now we originally were freaking out because for the oddest reason we were unable to open our interview with Stephen Spiritcaller :( But we kept our promise and still had a special guest host on the show. Thanks to our good friend IceWiz who stepped in and "saved the show" because we kinda had a long random awkwardness because Nick and Icy were trying to fix the interview file. I got to do my segment called Shadowhorn Tips and since we somehow got on the topic of Online Safety I read my interview with Ditto along with the help of Ethan :P You can find the original interview here. After that we obviously just had to hang on to Icy because we just felt that we have wanted an interview with her for a while so why not do it live :P

It turned out to be a lot of fun but eh we got side tracked a bit :P And I quote from Icy "That's the fun of doing a live show." You can flow with what you say and it's not off a script :P Then Icy had limited time because a little Diviner was "Not in bed where he was supposed to be" *cough cough* Ian :P Then we just cut to some chat room questions and got to revealing our contest winners. Sadly only one person actually guessed my pet's name which was to win a Wyvern's Hoard :P It was pretty obvious saying it's one word. No Miss, Lord, Queen etc. Then I even said it started with V and ended with DEN. V_DEN. Hmm.... I also mentioned that you can check the dye shop and look for the very little names that start with V and especially end with DEN. But eh I still gave the hoard away to the winner ;P Sadly when I was gifting Sierra Mist (The Drake Flame) I clicked the buy now button instead of gift button so I bought myself a Wyverns Hoard :P Eh I don't care much because I finally got a staff so yea :P After part was fun and then Nick and I ditched to have a chat with Stephen and Icy right before their WoW raid :P Was all fun but hey we will hopefully have our Stephen interview for next episode :P Now before I continue make sure to check out the newest Spiral Live episode at the livestream.

Now enough Spiral Live, let's move onto the big event of the year. Hehe year. Less then 24 hours left of it :P  So here is a list of my accomplishments of 2011.


  1. Reached 100 Followers
  2. Started a Wizard101 Podcast (Spiral Live)
  3. Protected the Spiral with the help of the Wizard City Protectors
  4. Reached my goal of 35,000 views by New Years!
  5. Made tons of new friends in the community :)
  6. Created tons of fascinating posts for the blog
  7. Got a cool name like Talon Thunderblade :P The Transcended Thaumaturge
  8. Reached level 60
  9. Started a few new wizards
  10. Finally got some crown items I have wanted for a long time :P
Now, for this new year, 2012, what are my expectations for this year. Well let's see :)
  • KingsIsle will release tons of new worlds
  • Have an amazing blogging year
and everyones favorite....

     4. We will not die on 12/21/12 (Hopefully)

Now what are goals I hope to achieve this coming year? 

To start off I want to set a New Years Resolution for myself. I will make it view able at the bottom of the blog so we can keep track of how close we are to the goals :)

  • I want to reach 60,000+ views by next New Years
  • I want to reach 200+ Followers by next year or my Wizaversary in September
  • I want to score a few major interviews this year
  • Score an interview with a KingsIsle employee
  • I want to make some epic posts 
  • Have epic contests 
  • And meet tons of new wizards :)

I feel like I am missing something but if it comes to me I will just add it in later :P Anyways this is the last post you will see from me this year so see you next year! Have fun watching the ball drop tomorrow and drinking your "kid friendly" juice boxes :P

Interview With Stephen Spiritcaller, Spiral Live, CONTESTS GALORE!

Spiral Live New Years Extravaganza is tonight and as we promised, a special guest host will be on the show!

Prestigious Say What? Zafaria Say What? New Pets & CONTEST PRIZES!!!

On the first day of Hanukkah my parent's gave to me, a Nerf Crossbow that can shoot 100 feet.
On the second day of Hanukkah my parent's gave to me, nothing!
On the third day of Hanukkah Ravenwood Radio gave to me an Epic Bundle!!!

Yup you heard right! I finally got the Epic Bundle without spending even a penny! For Ravenwood Radio Episode 54 they had a dorm and song contest. Of course I entered because honestly who doesn't want a chance at a few bundles! So I sadly didn't win the song contest which I thought was epic but oh well which really leaves the dorm contest for me to win. So... yea I won :) I was legit flipping out (in a good way) when I got the email yesterday :D You can ask Alex. I kinda got to excited :P 

Now since I have had many requests to see my dorm *cough cough Blaze Dragonhorn* I'm gonna post the pics I sent in. So here ya go Blaze and everyone else :)

So yea. Coolness :) So yea. I love my new Epic Bundle. Thanks a bajillion to Stephen Fallon and the Ravenwood Radio crew for the epic prize :) 

Now onto my new gear. Previously I had the frosty vestment robe and my hat and boots. That was my signature gear. But now it's time for a change. I tried pulling off that other outfit but it just didnt fit with the robe. Now I have the robe I wanted and I can finish my outfit so check dis out! Already stitched and the new Blaze Shadowhorn outfit :D

So now earlier I was chillin with Blaze (Lil B) Dragonhorn and we were at my new MFP and it was the first time I was in it and he took the liberty of being the first in the PvP arena.... Silly Blaze :P 

SO I am also thanks to the 5,000 Crowns I got, started ZAFARIA!!! Yea buddy! I also met a blog reader of mine named Austin Deathpetal who is one awesome dude. It's funny because when I was in the pet pavilion with Paige Moonshade and Nick he came up to me and was like are you Blaze Shadowhorn and I was like yea. Then I introduced him to Paige and Nick and then we all took a photo.

Then Austin was helping me in Zafaria with a quest and we ran into Cass Dragonheart and said hi  to her. Basically Austin met Paige, Cass, Nick and I all in one day! I have never known someone who has met 4 well-known wizards in public in less then 2 hours. It wasn't even at a party! 

Spiral Live Episode 11 is a week from today on next Friday 12/30/11. We are still not 100% sure about our guest host(s) but we might pre-record something for you guys with some people ;) 

The prizes for the show so far are:

Introducing the 13 Days of Wizard pet! :D

This is the new Snowball pet. Costing a shallow 3,400 Crowns and it is a limited time only pet, this is the way to go! 60 Pedigree. 5 minute Hatch time. Gives 1 card at baby. It's amazing! It comes with this epic new spell called Snowball Strike which I haven't seen but Nick saw when him and Patrick Emeraldpyre were farming Tree of Life earlier. It seems like an epic spell plus I hear it has epic talents :D 
Bellow is a picture of the Snowball Strike spell which has 80% acuracy and does 185 ice damage to all and gives +20% to next Ice Attack spell to all.

As you know, Wizard101 has been holding the 12 Days of Wizard I guess you could say "auction, raffle, giveaway". So far we have had:

This basically shows why people love Wizard101 and why it's family friendly and good for everyone! (Hey Alex. We have to show this to mom and dad ;P)


Now since this leads into Zafaria which I *cough cough* still need to start, KingsIsle has released a video about the behind the scenes work for Zafaria :) Check, check, check dis out!

Now yea I have used the "Contact Us" form but that didn't help. I sent it a while ago and I still can't log on. I must say I am very disappointed with this feedback. Anyways I was thinking about opening a sig shop but nah to much work :P Instead I have been working on making stuff for people like the new header for Pyromancer Jonathan, Some epic sigs for me, and the usual i'm bored so i'm gonna mess around with gimp type stuff. Oh yea and I made an epic death thing but I didn't have any death wizard renders so I used Justin Shadowblade and now it's his but you can see it bellow ;)

So this is what I have been doing lately :) They are pretty good I must say and pretty epic. Now, onto Spiral Live!!!

Spiral Live Episode 10 is tonight! Gosh thats 5 months of podcasting! If you have been following Spiral Live you know that we have changed it completely! It is more epic and awesome :D Also we will be announcing the winners of the Fan Art contest on the show :) 

Now for the big news. Spiral Live Episode 11 would be on New Years Eve!!! Since we know that everyone is busy on New Years Eve (especially me, and everyone else) we have moved it to the day before which would be Friday, December 30th. We are going to have a special episode which will have tons of fun stuff and special guest hosts who are very well known ;) This will include The Friendly Necromancer and his amazing wife Bailey Skystaff (most likely) and then we are waiting for a response from Ditto and Fallon Shadowblade. They are all good friends of ours and it would be so fun to have them with us to celebrate the new year :) Unfortunately The Ravenwood Radio crew is unable to join us for this because they have plans irl. 

So make sure to put Spiral Live Episode 11 down on your calenders because we will be rocking livestream like never before with our guest hosts and.... PRIZES!!!

Gosh we have so many entries for the Spiral Live Fan Art contest!!! Just a quick rundown here is the information again:


On episode 9 we released info about the Spiral Live Fan Art contest. All you have to do is make a (photoshop, gimp, draw) picture about Spiral Live. That means you can do a pic of me and nick, ethan the sound guy, etc. All you have to do is send in your picture by this Friday December 9th at midnight eastern time. I'm Back With Central

Most people know how me and Jester had an argument and I stopped using them for a while. Now I am back on Central :) To be honest, how can you not like Wizard101 Central. You might not like them at some time but the truth is you will eventually come back to it :) They have tons of guides, tips, and just everything! You can make awesome friends and so much more.

Anyways I have to use my old account from 2009 because now you need a paid email adress so I can't make a new account. If you want to add me just search yadude. That is my Central username.
