New World Zafaria!!! Introducing the new world released by Wizard101 which will have tons of new spells, mounts, gear, pets and thank god... A new level cap!!! You will be able to reach level 70 in this new African themed world. Now there has been sooooo much talk about Zafaria starting with the sneak peak pics leaked by Wizard101 and other sites. First there were tons of people trying to figure out the codes in the pictures. The Spirals, Stars, and Giraffes were all in apparently Morse Code as figured out by Kevin Battleblood :) Here are original leaked pictures with their code under them.

It has been assumed that in the last photo, besides the epic archaeological outfit, "Her" refers to Morganthe. You also see the Shadowweavers that are from Celestia which can only mean one thing.... Morganthe has come back to the Spiral.

In this new world of Zafaria, there are many new things such as amazing and I mean AMAZING spells. These are the spells you get after your level 58 spells which are epic. To name a few we have a giant garden gnome, a Chimera, A Volcano but to find out more you will have to watch the video which is farther down the page ;)

Now for a quick run down of the new areas in the game:

Baobab, the market Hub of Zafaria.
The Savannah, with its open grasslands and hidden dens.
Zamuda, the great wooden city of the Zebra Empire
Stone Town, capital of the Elephant Nation
Drum Jungle, where twisted ruins hide beneath the lush canopy

I think these are pretty cool ideas and names but check what else there is! So there have been tons of new pictures released a few days ago which I find really breath taking. I find this just a ton more amazing then Celestia and it hasn't even been released yet!!! Here are a few pictures to keep your mind in awe ;)

Now good o'll Spooky Bob has left the Spiral but Harvest Hannah is back in business! Being the amazing Pilgrim she is, she also has some amazing gear she sells in the Shopping District. A Indian Hat and some amazing wands and outfits are what she offers. I still need my Indian Hat!!! Oh and don't forget the signature Turkey Hat :P

So who remembers the Epic Bundle which gives the Massive Fantasy Palace? Well sadly it has to go bye bye :( No more Epic Bundles are being made and they are being cleared off the shelves on November 7th, 2011 so that's only 4 days away!!! If you haven't gotten it yet, make sure to stop by Toys R' Us and get it. I still need to get mine...

Currently there is only one mobile app for Wizard101. Now KingsIsle is releasing a new app that will be coming out very soon! Introducing Grub Guardians! Grub Guardians is a tower defense game where you just protect your tower and the cool part is that you can train your pets from this!!! Yea you heard me right. No more being bored in the Pet Pavillion because you are trying to rank up your pet... No more being out of Pet Energy and not being able to train your pets. Make sure to get this app when it comes out for Android and IOS.

Nick made Zebrifica, I made Spizeria. Spizeria is a world I am drawing which is the main layer of Morganthe. In Spizeria, you have your world gate which takes you to the main area (Center) and when you walk to the main area, you are greeted with to pillars with Skulls on top of them and fire on the side. Watch out because there is also poison seeping through the ground in certain areas.

Next you have the Land of the Spider (bottom right) which is basically infested with Spiders from every world. You have your Marleybone spiders, Krokotopia spiders, and Dragonspyre spiders as well! It will have the final instance of that zone a tower/volcano which you must get to the top and beat the Spider Queen.

In the upper right corner we have the abandoned house of the potion witch who is the cousin of Firecat Alley's Gretta Darkkettle. Legend says this is an abandoned house but when you get a quest to go here to obtain a magical potion so you can venture through the Sea of Fire (left of main area) and the Lake of Poison (right of main area). Basically it is like the Celestian Quest to get the thing that lets you breathe under water.

Now, the Palace of Morganthe (top right). A dark and dreary place it is. When the clouds thunder you know it's not good. Once you have your potion so you can venture through the Sea of Fire which is guarded by the Fire Serpent, you are able to proceed to the Palace of Morganthe. Here you confront Morganthe. You enter her Palace which is a dungeon and then you work your way up through her many floors and make your way to the top. Finally you reach it and you confront Morganthe. This is where Morganthe will have her final stand... Or so you think ;)

Shadowrider Academy Opening Day has finally happened!!! I was so glad that we finally were able to have it since the original date was canceled due to Maintenance. I must say that besides all the chat bubbles on the screen, it was a ton of fun meeting all the young wizards who came to enroll. Now I recorded a video on xfire but sadly it stopped recording after a few minutes. Anyways here is the video but don't pay attention to Nick in the background ;) I'm making a YouTube video which has a tour of the Academy but until then this is what I have for you ;)

Hey-o! So Episode (spookasode) 6 was pretty good :) We got a better turn out then our past few episodes XD We had a spooky intro music that was remixed as well as an epic background picture for the episode XD We also had an epic after party where the rule was, be in a halloween outfit or get out :P Of course we wouldn't follow through with this but it was a fun time XD The best part in my opinion was that we got it all in one recording!!! Yay for a good wi-fi connection!!!

Now we discussed the new Nightmare Packs, and the new houses and much more. We had a contest where you had to tell us the name of the main mount that was dropped from the Nightmare pack. Unfortunately everyone said the answer in the chat room a bajillion times so lucky me got to be like, "Clear chat room, clear chat room, clear chat room" a lot of times :P

So basically, the episode was pretty sweet XD We had a fun time and we hope that all you who listened in enjoyed it as much as we did XD Nick especially loved using his scary voice during the show and me trying to do a scary voice ;) Nick also brought up a irl thing about me and a Spider which I wasn't so fond about :P

Anyways, for all you viewers, thanks for listening in, and for all of you that didn't, you missed out on a spooktacular time XD You can always listen to it on our Livestream though.

Hello All.

As you probably know by know, Wizard101 was undergoing continuous maintenance last night so we were unable to have Opening Day. Note that Opening Day has been rescheduled. The new info is as follows:

When: Sunday October 30th.
Time: 7pm Eastern Standard Time
Pick up: Ravenwood; Realm-Scarecrow Area-1

Everything is the same as it originally was except the date. Remember that we can only take 50 students so arrive early to reserve your spot. The Port Bus, Blaze Shadowhorn (level 1 Storm) comes occasionally during the day to add students, so if your there early and you see the port bus, add him to reserve your spot. We had a good 15+ people camping out for a good 5+ hours to reserve their spot.

Thanks again for understanding and sorry again for the inconvinience.

I just composed and wrote a Halloween Special song for SLBeats XD So before I go all chit chat on ya, let's move on to out Halloween Special-Single.

SLBeats now has a new song which you can view on the SLBeats page here and it was written and composed by me (Blaze Shadowhorn). This is called the Rise of Morganthe because as you know, me and Nick are opening our own Academy next Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 at 7pm Eastern in Ravenwood Realm Scarecrow Area 1 and the history of the Academy which can be viewed here deals with Morganthe (and Malistaire) coming back to destroy the Spiral. So Morganthe is rising so we called it the Rise of Morganthe :P Well actually that's not the reason :P We just came up with it because it sounded good but that kinda made the template for our Academy History. Yo yo you Wizzys! You are here for the first ever Blaze's Weekly Overview Post!!! I kinda took the idea from Nick but me and him are bros so he wont care :P Basically I am going to talk about this whole weeks topics in just one post!!! Your probably like, Blaze... You never do this! You like your separate posts...
I feel like doing this because I am behind on my posts and this is to catch up lol.

Myth Questing in Marleybone.
So yea my myth is almost done Marleybone! Just have a few more instances then I am done. I am lazy to include pictures and more detail for this sub-post cause it's boring so onto the next sub-post!!!

Test Realm!!!
Yup the test realm is up! Although it doesn't involve new worlds or anything I still think it is pretty cool :) Here is what's being tested:

The Black Panther is now in the Crown Shop!!!
Maps have been updated for game worlds (Grizzleim and Celestia)
New Housing Signs are available in the Crown Shop!
Ability to place items in water in Sunken Palace! (Finally ;)

So lets start with a rundown of all of them in order.

The Black Panther I like because you can finally get it from the Crown Shop!!! I don't like it because I still have my 15 day rental :P
The Maps I haven't seen but I heard that there isn't much of a difference except for some new labels on them so that's cool I guess.
The Housing Signs are where it's at! These are totally epic! You now don't have to worry about wondering who's house your in because you can now get signs that can say 107 different sayings! I definitely want this because it is easier for me to label my houses rather then, Sultans Palace, Storm House, etc. I can now pick from different signs! Some of them include "Gone Fishing", etc. They can range from 500 to 1,500 Crowns plus they come in different designs for every world! Here are some pictures of them from Paige Moonshade:

4. Finally they let us place items in the water of the Sunken Palace! It has been frustrating everyone and this was the only reason preventing me from getting one. It makes it a lot more convenient then the limited open ground that you could place items in.

Yea you heard right! I finally got crowns and Started Wysteria!!! I am sooooo excited to finally be able to do the amazing story line and well thought out quests. I can't wait to get the Spiral Cup and finally display it in my epicness Trophy Area XD

Halloweens a Comin To The Spiral!

*cue spooky music* Yea buddy! Halloweens a comin to the Spiral!!! Spooky Bob, Jack Hallow, and the whole crew are back to give you a scaring good time this Halloween. With new pets, epic quests and outrageous requests, you'll have a spook of a time :) See I rhymed :P Well to get started. The crews back and Spooky Bob is in the shopping district once again. He's got his spooktacular clothing items and this year he is back with not one, not two, not three but four pets!!! The Black Cat is back as usual but now we have the legendary pet which has been predicted, the Zombie Piggle! We also have the Nightmare, and Ghost Dragon. The Zombie Piggle does not come with a spell but the Nightmare (which was already a hatchable pet) and the Ghost Dragon do! The Nightmare comes with Meteor Strike while the Ghost Dragon comes with Animate (Death Minion Spell). The black cat is 1,500 Crowns, Nightmare is 2,500 Crowns, and the Ghost Dragon is 3,000 Crowns. Zombie Piggle (Found in Crown Shop not Spooky Bob)

I must say I spent a good 1,000+ Crowns on halloween items this year, not on pets (because I got Black Cat a few years ago by accident cause I thought it was gold :P) but on clothing! I got the Skeleton Head hat and the Scary Pumpkin staff :) They look epic with my costume XD I will be wearing it the whole month XD How do you like the new blog layout! I think it's pretty epic XD

Yea that's me :) Epic header right XD I have the cancer symbol in the bottom right corner because it is Cancer Awareness Month. Please do your best to remind people to support the fight against Cancer.

I also hung out with my Twin today, Talon Thunderblade and him and I have the same costume!!! Except his is based off of his normal colors :P Check our epic picture from earlier XD

Ravenwood Radio Episode 50!!!

Congrats Stephen and Fallon!!! Ravenwood Radio just had Episode 50!!! They had soooo many prizes to give out. It was between 49 and 51.... Yea they gave out 50 prizes!!! This was a variety of prizes ranging from 750 Crowns-Epic and Mega Bundles! They had so many contest questions it was hard to keep track! Some of them were really challenging though. Anyways Episode 50 was a blast because Steve and Fallon had so many others hosting with them! They had Ditto, Icy, Friendly and a few others. Believe it or not I actually won a contest!!! I won the twitter contest. It was fairly simple. All I had to do was talk about Episode 50 and use the #RR50 hash-tag. I don't know what I won but I believe it is crowns. Thanks again guys for an amazing episode!!! May you keep broadcasting till episode 120!!!

Wyvern's Hoard Card Packs:

What's the deal with the Wyvern's Hoard packs... They have pros and cons. The pros are you can get teleporters, mounts, and amazing items from it. The cons are the low percentage it has of you getting it. I bought 8 Wyvern's Hoard packs and to my surprise I actually got 3 teleporters! Sadly no Wyvern mount :( I also only got 3 items of clothing and tons of housing items :P I want the Mooshu Well housing item :P Contribute to the cause, gift me Wyvern Hoards. ;)

Introducing Shadowrider Academy!!!

Shadowrider Academy is an academy run by me, Headmaster Blaze Shadowhorn and co-Headmaster Nicholas Lionrider. We came up with the name Shadowrider Academy because it has part of each of our last names. Blaze Shadowhorn and Nicholas Lionrider. We are one of the currently 5 or 6 Academies in the whole Spiral!!! We have a current head count of 30+ students and 15 professors. We offer various classes such as the ordinary school classes, PvP, Gardening, Crafting, and Pet Training. We have many positions still open and we are currently hoping to be done with the Academy building by next weekend.
