Back In Game/Crown Shop Update

Hello Wizardly Friends!

So if you didn't know, I haven't been able to log in to Wizard101 recently for weird reasons. Earlier today, I tried logging on and realized that this annoying update pop-up appeared again. I got so annoyed so I finally clicked it and waited a few minutes and when it finished, I was able to log on to W101 again!!! I finally was able to check out all the new updates and log in to receive my various birthday gifts from Nick and Friendly. Those guys are the best :) Which reminds me....HAPPY WIZAVERSARY NICK!!! It's Nick's Wizaversary so go over to his blog and comment with a friendly hello on his new post.

As for Friendly,  he is joining us on Spiral Live tonight for Episode 15 :) It's gonna be a blast with him on the show which will give all you listeners an inside look on a special interview, a sweet contest, and the chance at asking Friendly live questions and having them answered immediately... LIVE! To ask Friendly a question, email it to spirallivepodcast@gmail.com or if your in the chat room, you can post @Question before your question and have it answered.

As for the Crown Shop, there are ton's of new things.

It's a lot more organized and you can check out all the crown items from vendors in the Crown Shop! Remember those daggers and rings, well now you can just click on this icon  and you can see them :D So yea.... New updates in store XD Click https://www.wizard101.com/update for the info.

~The "B" Team~

Here we are, The B(logger) Team. From left, Sean Dragonflame, Blaze Shadowhorn, Malorn Ghostrider, Mark Stormhunter. Today we all took a farming trip in Wintertusk (Hrundle Fjord) to stock up on items to sell for gold. So you know how I used to farm Stormriven bosses for gold. Well then it took a good 6+ minutes to kill a boss which dropped 1-2 items that you can sell. Thanks to Malorn and Mark for cluing me in that a "street" battle in Wintertusk takes 5 times less time plus you get 1-2 items per battle. That means in 6 minutes you could get a good 4+ items while you would be getting 1-2 items in Stormriven for the same amount of time. Sorry if this is all confusing lol.

In this picture Mark is out because Talon, Hilarious Thaumaturge (on Moon sigel) ported. We decided to send some Ice Gobblers home to finish up mine and Mark's quest.
After this we farmed some bosses. Mainly we farmed Mimir Winterbane for his awesome items he drops. He dropped the all powerful Dragon's Shield Amulet which sells for a whopping 12,888 gold!   It is a good way to get easy easy easy gold! If you get 2 of them like Alex did, you get 24,000 gold from just two items.

We had such a fun time farming for gold and now we do it often :)
Well that's the end of today's post. Cya in the Spiral!

~How Big Is Your Backpack and Bank?~

How big is your Backpack and Bank? Some people like Quinn from Fin and Quinn may say that their bank is 1,100/100. That is totally over filled! The Heroic Pyromancer has a whooping 403/100 items in his bank! Now you all might be wondering why I am asking you this. This is because (quoted from Wizard101.com) "Having your backpack and bank over capacity can make your wizard less efficient when traveling to different areas completing quests."

Basically in other terms, sell your items or your wizard will lag :) So hop on your mount, go to commons, then go to Shopping District, after that go to Olde Town, finally go to Bazaar and SELL YOUR ITEMS!!! This will save your wiz from getting frozen and you also will make A LOT of gold in the process XD

Here is the direct post from Wizard101:
"Don't forget to clean out your backpack and bank!
Having your backpack and bank over capacity can make your wizard less efficient when traveling to different areas completing quests. The easy solution to this issue is selling unwanted items at the bazaar - you'll be surprised at how much gold you can earn. Selling your extra items could even help you save up enough for that house you've been wanting... or spend extra gold hatching with all your new Petapalooza pets!"
