Seven Days of KI (Day 4): Blog of the Month

April 22, 2017 Blaze Shadowhorn 2 Comments

Running a fansite is no easy task and for nearly five years, I've wanted to recognize those who work so hard to bring amazing content to the community. I present to you the Blog of the Month award.

The Blog of the Month award recognizes those fansites and individuals who have greatly impacted the community for the better. It takes a village to raise a child and for all of us, that child is Wizard101. It would not be where it is today without the never-ending support of it's players, both young and old along with those who hold the community together.

A new fansite will be recognized every month and they will receive a unique badge that they can proudly display on their website while also being added to the Tales of the Spiral Blog of the Month recipient archives.

Picking the recipient for the month of April 2017 did not require any second thought as this Wizard has been a huge part of the community since 2011 and has been putting out phenomenal thought-out content since. Who do you think it is?

Before I announce it, we need a wizardly drum roll... You got me fam?

I am pleased to present the April 2017 Blog of the Month award to Swordroll's Blog!

Swordroll (Jason Goldriver) has been a personal friend of mine since 2012 and his Wizard101 website design and content is second to none. He is one of the most dedicated community members I know when it comes to his posts because every single word and phrase has a specific purpose that allows it to flow ever so smoothly and efficiently..

If you have not done so yet, make sure to check out Swordroll's Blog and follow it because he has some great content there that I feel you would all enjoy. Furthermore, if you are not doing so already, make sure to also follow Jason and his blog on Twitter @Swordroll and @SwordrollsBlog.

Jason, congratulations on being the first recipient of this award and I wish you all the best moving forward.

See you in the Spiral!
