~Have You Ever Wanted To Be On Ravenwood Radio?~
Let me start of with a quesiton... Have you ever wanted to be on Ravenwood Radio? Well Stephen Spiritcaller (host with Fallon Deathslinger) wrote a post about this on his blog. I agree with him because this is not a fun topic to discuss and it is not fun letting down peoples dreams... Here is a few short excerpt from the post:
"Question: How do I get on Ravenwood Radio?
This is easily one of the top five questions we receive in the show’s e-mail box. It’s a difficult question to answer, because I know that the answer isn’t what you want to hear, and the reasons we say no have resulted in people calling us everything from cold and heartless to elitist jerks (and a few times even worse). Most people that know me will tell you I hate being the guy who has to disappoint someone or who comes off as an uncaring snob.
Answer: As a general policy, we don’t have community members as guests on the show.
That is the standard initial response to most people asking to be on the show. And you might think this answer is kind of haugthy. Why do some people not fall under the umbrella of “general policy?” Why do people like Friendly, IcyWiz, Ditto, and so many others wind up outside the umbrella and on the show? There is a long list of people who have been on study halls or participated in special live events like the Malistaire run. The policy isn’t there just because we don’t want to share our toys, I promise."
